Winter Weater: Cancellations/Delays
It is important to be prepared for a snow day, weather-related delay or an early dismissal. When the forecast calls for severe weather, remember to do the following:
* Listen to the forecast the night before.
* Allow yourself extra time in the morning. Turn on the radio or television to listen for closing announcements and the updates forecast.
* Prepare your children for a full school day. Whenever possible, the district will attempt to have classes as normal.
* Allow extra time for buses - both to and from school.
* During the winter months weather conditions can change rapidly which could create the need for an early dismissal. If this happens, it is very important that your child's school has emergency numbers for you and your child-provider.
